Has it really been 8 months since this guy came into our lives? Some days it feels like he was born yesterday, and other days it feels like he has always been a part of our little family.
This little blonde haired, blue eyed cutie is opinionated, let me tell you. If he wants something, he wants it NOW. If he doesn't, he lets you know.
And the lungs on this little guy, OMG! He screams and screams loud. Our bedrooms are split, with the master being on one end of the house, and the boys rooms on the other...no need for a monitor most days...Sawyer is heard loud and clear.
He loves attention, and he loves to cuddle. This is new for me, because his big bro was not a cuddly baby. I am loving every.single.moment.
He is a HUGE mommas boy and it melts my heart to mush. He has a tad bit of stranger anxiety but is completely ok if he has his baby blues zeroed in on his momma.
Being a mommas boy also has its downsides...he wants me to hold him 90% of the time that he is awake. That can make it a bit tricky to get anything else done.
He also ADORES his big brother, he smiles and giggles for E like no one else. I get the smiles and the coos and the giggles. BUT THE BELLY LAUGHS??? Those are reserved for E and its so so adorable. It is especially sweet that the feelings are quite mutual.
He is still such a happy happy baby. He smiles and smiles all day long. He is also so very animated. He makes so many faces.
He is also on the move. He has begun to army crawl and is all over and into EVERYTHING. We didn't have to do very much baby proofing with E, we just kind of went as he got into things. This guy is going to keep us on our toes and teach us what baby proofing is all about. Ha!
He is our tiny peanut. He is about 5 lbs smaller than what big brother was at this age and he is wearing a lot of 6 month things still, unless its footed pjs. He is going through a bit of a growth spurt lately though and is back to wanting a bottle every 3 hours during the day. We do some baby foods but for the most part he just eats whatever we are eating, which has been nice considering E is such a picky eater.
He is truly such a blessing to our little family.
