Little Gym, Happy Birthday Matthew

One of E's classmates at school celebrated his 3rd birthday at Little Gym. It was so much fun and of course E loved seeing all of his buddies from school.  And apparently little Anna enjoyed seeing E and whispering to him, which was absolutely adorable. I was quite impressed with the structured set up of a the party. There were planned games and activities and the *coaches* also served the pizza and cake.

HMMT Halloween Carnival

One of the Moms Groups that we are a part of here in Hville put together a Halloween Carnival, and B was lucky enough to be off to go with us. Good thing, because our holy terror sweet little 2.5 year old was a real peach. He lost it as soon as we entered the building and threw tantrum after tantrum. We should have left as soon as we got there but we stuck it out and he actually enjoyed himself when he stopped being so *peachy*. There were games to be played, face painting, a photo booth, a cupcake walk, pumpkin decorating, and even a candy parade. I think E's favorite was the photo booth and the fishing game. Such a fun thing to do as a family.

painting pumpkins

We went to a playmate where E got to paint a pumpkin. He loves to paint so he loved this activity. Sawyer had a blast as well, *talking* to the other babies :)

Its a bird, its a plane...

Noooo its Clark Kent and his nemesis Baby Kryptonite.

First Halloween Party of the Season. {10.15.11}
Their costumes were a hit. I love homemade costumes opposed to store bought and I really hope to keep making them as long as the boys aren't picky :)

One of our Moms Group hosted an old fashioned family oriented Halloween Party. The kiddos dressed up in their costumes then each family was to bring a treat for each child and set up their own *station* that was a hay bale in a big field that made a giant loop. Then the kiddos *trick or treated* with flash lights around the field. It was really cool because the treats could be homemade instead of store bought because there were no worries of the treats being tainted. E and I made Smore Treat bags.
1 - miniature hersheys chocolate bar
1 - ghost peep marshmallow
2 - graham squares

Easy peasy and super cute.

Down on the farm

At Lyon Family Farms...we crossed into Tennessee to a popular farm and pumpkin patch. It was everything you would imagine a traditional pumpkin patch would be. We were there for 2 hours and still didn't do everything that they had to offer. E's favorite was the cow train and all of the farm animals. Dada's favorite was the corn maze. Sawyers favorite was people watching. Mommas favorite was seeing how much fun her boys were having.

farm slide...I didn't think that E would go down it but he did...THREE times.

E got #5.
