Halloween Part 3: Pumpkin Patch

The day before Halloween we loaded up the babies and visited the same Pumpkin Patch we took E to last year. This year he was old enough to be able to enjoy everything that they have to offer for the kiddos...

Such a boy. He loves anything with wheels. The tractor was a big hit.

And I can take you for a ride on my big green tractor....

Sweet pic of E & A. Love them.

3 Little Pumpkins

Pumpkin Family

Llama Llama Red Pajama...E really liked the petting zoo with all the animals. I think he likes anything with 4 legs and fur as much as he likes anything with wheels.

He LOVED the pony ride, that is until the pony actually started moving...then he was over it and wanted off.

Being sweet.....

and silly on the hay ride.

In search of the Great Pumpkin...

Found One!

So did Addie.

Our Little Family of 3 soon to be 4 :)

The wonderful Wizard of Oz, because because because because becauseeeeee.....Our Mom's group had a Halloween Fest and we decided to dress the stroller mafia up as the Wizard of Oz characters. It turned out sooooo adorable and they had many compliments and admirers....But who could blame them in all this cuteness!

23/24 weeks

Had my 23 weeks appt for 2.0. Baby is growing right on track. Strong heartbeat of 150bpm and I had a 3 lb weight gain...which brings grand total for this pregnancy to 3 lbs. Ha. I am still wearing my regular jeans and most of my shirts. I do like maternity shirts better though because they are longer. My jeans even seem like they are too big because seriously the weight is getting sucked from everywhere to go to my belly. I cant eat very much at a time, and when I do eat I feel icky. Yucko.

A few fun pics...

2.0 on the left, E on the right. I was a lot bigger with E than with 2.0

All 2.0

Our little 2.0...in case you were interested...is the size of a Papaya (22-24 weeks, or Month 5)

Watch what you say -- baby is now able to hear outside noise from down in the womb. Studies show that baby finds gentle music and your own voice most soothing. Nipples are starting to sprout, and that little face is fully formed. And, baby's starting to settle into sleep cycles, snoozing about 12 to 14 hours a day. It shouldn't be hard to figure out when -- just pay attention to those kicks as they start and stop.

Halloween Part 1: School Party and Pumpkin Carving

Halloween was a big holiday for us this year...we were slammed packed with events to attend which included THREE different costumes :)
We went to Boo at the Zoo which was already blogged about...Elias had his first class party where he made a VERY cute Rock Star...we carved pumpkins...we attended our Mom's Group Halloween Fest...we went to pumpkin patch...and we trick or treated. By the end of the week both baby and Momma were exhausted but it was well worth all the fun :) Elias has gotten to such a fun age and seeing him interact and enjoy things more has been amazing. Here are some pics of our little Rock Star and of some pumpkin carving....

Class party costume...Rock Star...

It was nap time and he was so OVER pictures and my camera :) Even Rock Stars gotta nap :)

We went to a local church to get our pumpkins :) Boy Scouts were selling pumpkins for a good deal. We went to a pumpkin patch (twice actually) but just for the experience and the hay rides :)

a name.

2.0 has a name. Baby Boy 2.0 will be called Nolan. We havent 100% agreed on a middle name yet but soon. It was hard to find a name that we both loved, that was uncommon, and was as cute as Elias :)

Brothers :)

Christmas Tree Cake

Saying that Brendon, LOVES Christmas Tree Cakes, would be an understatement. They are made by Little Debbie and are shaped like trees and only come out during the holiday season. The description says....A fun holiday snack that everyone will enjoy! A tree shaped yellow cake with creme filling that is decorated with white frosting,
green sprinkles and a red garland of frosting.   Apparently Elias has the same tastes as his Dada :) He had his first Christmas Tree Cake and devoured it.

Double the BLUE and 20 weeks

E has something to share...come this March we are gonna have double the BLUE.

Yes, thats right, little Baby 2.0 is Baby BOY 2.0.

And he def wasnt scared to show off the goods. Ha!

Cute little baby nose. I am already in love <3>

Here is Big Brother Elias at 19wks 5d

Growing up I always thought that I would be the Momma to boys and looks as if that is becoming a reality. I cant say that I wasnt a tad bit disappointed that we wont be buying pink and everything that is frilly, but we are SUPER excited to have BROTHERS.

Elias stayed with his "Aunties" while Momma and Dada went to the appointment...this is how they thought he should reveal his baby brother to be :) HA!

LOVE this cute face.

I am 20 weeks and feeling pretty great. I can't believe we are already half way there to being able to see our sweet little babys face. Some days it seems as if this pregnancy is dragging but for the most part it is flying by with how busy we are. I am hoping that all the holidays coming up will help the time go by even faster. At our appt (18wks 4d) everything was good with both baby and Momma. I haven't gained a single pound yet but Baby Boy was right on target at 18wks 4d, so obviously he is getting everything he needs. My crazy craving this past month has been chicken (which I HATED when I was pregnant with Elias and Mt. Dew. I am NOT a Mt. Dew drinker, I have always LOVED my Dr. Pepper, but these days I want that citrus-y goodness.

For your entertainment...Here is whats going on with 2.0 at 20 weeks.

Baby's digestive system is busy creating meconium (a tarry black substance made of swallowed amniotic fluid, digestive secretion and dead cells), which will fill the first diaper after birth. And, speaking of the diaper situation... baby's genitals are now fully formed!

Best Friends Forever

"Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you've never been hurt."

I must say that Elias and I are pretty lucky. Here in Alabama, we have some of the best friends that anyone could ever ask for.

The Babies.

Elias, Addie, Walker, & Will

The Mommas.

Lauren, Lindy, Alison, and Me
